Free Up Space: Analyzing Disk Usage in cPanel

The Usual Suspects

The Disk Usage tool gives you a visual breakdown of your directories. Usually, the culprits are:

• Trash: When you delete files in File Manager, they go to .trash. Empty it!
• Error Logs: A malfunctioning plugin can generate a 5GB error_log file in days.
• Softaculous Backups: Old automated backups of WordPress you forgot about.

How to Clean Up

In the Disk Usage viewer, you can click on any folder name to open it directly in File Manager. Sort by "Size" to find the largest files instantly and delete them.
