Full vs. Partial Backups

cPanel offers two modes. A **Full Backup** archives your entire account (emails, files, databases) to a single file—perfect for migrating to a new host. A **Partial Backup** lets you download just the MySQL database or just the Home Directory—perfect for quick safety before an update.

The 1-Click Process

1. Click Backup Wizard.
2. Click "Back Up".
3. Choose "Home Directory".
4. Click Download.
